On Friday February 27, 2026 Greenwich Elementary School 5th graders had their D.A.R.E. graduation. This graduation was a positive and uplifting event that brought together students, educators, law enforcement, and the local community in support of youth development. Led by Officer Berger the program highlighted the core goals of D.A.R.E., including teaching students how to make safe, responsible decisions, build confidence, and use effective resistance strategies when facing peer pressure and everyday challenges. The ceremony was further strengthened by remarks from two Phillipsburg High School students, sophomore's Vincent Berger and Evan Wojciechowski, whose messages reinforced the lasting impact of the program and showed younger students how D.A.R.E. skills can be applied beyond the classroom. Overall, the event reflected a strong partnership between schools, families, and community leaders working together to support students’ success.
