Turkey Trot

Community Spirit Shines at Annual Turkey Trot

The Greenwich Township School District Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is proud to announce the success of our annual Turkey Trot held last week. The event was a wonderful demonstration of school and community spirit, bringing everyone together for a great cause.

We were thrilled with the turnout, which saw 125 registered participants enjoying the fresh air and community camaraderie.

The collective effort of the participants and sponsors generated a total of $950 in funds. We are pleased to announce that, as a result of this success, the PTO is making a $400 donation from the proceeds to the River of Life Food Bank in Phillipsburg.

In a further display of generosity, all leftover food items from the event—including apples, bananas, granola bars, and chips—were also donated directly to the food bank. This dual contribution will provide much-needed support to our neighbors.

This event truly showcased the spirit of our community and our shared commitment to supporting local needs.

We absolutely could not have achieved this success without the dedication of our entire community. A special thank you goes out to our tireless teacher volunteers, the enthusiastic help from our parents, and the generosity of our event sponsors.

Thank you for your ongoing support of the GTSD  PTO and our initiatives. Your participation makes a real difference!

And thank you to the GTSD PTO for planning such amazing events for the community!
