Hi, my name is Katie Kent and I am  thrilled to be joining Greenwich Elementary as a Basic Skills Teacher. I've been a classroom teacher for the past 12 years, where I spent most of my time teaching first grade. Over the years, I have developed a strong passion for literacy instruction and have fallen in love with designing engaging, targeted interventions that meet each student where they are. Whether I'm working one-on-one or in a small group, my goal is always to make learning meaningful and build confidence. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband , Cory and our son, Lincoln, being active outside, reading, and cooking. I am so excited to join our students' academic adventure.
