Greenwich Township School District

Last night Beth Rooney, GTSD Board President, Denise Valle, GTSD Board Member, and I had the opportunity to speak with the Stewartsville Volunteer Fire Department.  Thank you to Chief Mecsey and Captain Mecsey for allowing us  to share some of the current budget concerns with the community and volunteers in attendance last night.   We couldn't be more appreciative of the time they gave us and the thoughtful questions asked to better understand the state of our district.  As I have learned in my 7 month period here in Greenwich, this truly is a dynamic community. Getting to know the Town Council, Fire Department and Police Department has been a rewarding experience deepening my understanding of this deeply bonded community.  Together we can ensure a great future for our children by supporting the November ballot questions to bring back basic skills instruction and music and art.  We appreciate all of your support!
