The Superintendent may be required to close schools, delay the opening of schools, or release students early in the interest of student safety as a result of extreme weather conditions, the failure of building systems, and additional unexpected emergencies. Families will be notified of school closings and delayed openings using the School Messenger automated telephone & text messaging system and on WMFZ Channel 69.
The Greenwich Township School District Child Care Program does not operate in the event of an emergency school closure, delayed opening, or early dismissal.
